Albright College Athletics

After a crushing home loss to Lebanon Valley last week the Lions needed a late three-pointer on the road to fend off Arcadia University and come home with a double-overtime victory. The hard-fought battle embodied the desire and drive that has kept the team in every game this season, but with little time to celebrate Albright will host conference leading Messiah College in another must-win contest.

The Albright College women's basketball team is back in action this Saturday the 28th as they host Messiah College in a Commonwealth Conference match up. The Lions are coming off a win over the Arcadia Knights, and are looking to keep that momentum going towards the end of the season.

The Albright and Messiah men's basketball teams will compete Saturday in this year's annual Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Coaches from both teams will wear suits and sneakers as part of a national campaign to raise awareness and money for cancer research.
