Men's Golf Places Sixth at Messiah Falcon Classic
Tournament Results

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Just four days after retaining the Yocum Cup, the Men’s Golf team traveled to Blue Ridge Country Club to take part in the Messiah College Falcon Classic Thursday afternoon.

Of the 16 teams that competed in the tournament, Albright College finished in sixth place with a score of 329 (+41). Taking the team championship was Muhlenberg College who shot a team score of 314 (+26).

Leading the red and white in Thursday’s tournament was Matt Osorio who picked up another top-20 finish with a score of 81 (t-14th). Finishing just one stroke behind his teammate was Erik Thorn who finished tied for 21st place. The overall individual champion was Muhlenberg’s Zachary Oyer who shot a 74 on the day.

Finishing tied for 29th place was Joe Tenuta and Steve Werst. The two posted a score of 83 (+11). Closing out the afternoon for Albright was Jay Angstadt with a score of 92 (+20).

Men’s Golf returns to action on Monday when they travel to Lititz, Pa. for the Bent Creek Invitational hosted by Franklin and Marshall College. Monday’s tournament is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
