Tournament Results
HERSHEY, Pa. - Battling strong winds the Albright Golf Team competed at the 2009 Elizabethtown College Blue Jay Fall Classic Wednesday afternoon.
Despite the team’s best efforts the elements proved too much as the red and white finished in 15th place out of a field of 16 teams. With their highest score of the season, the red and white finished 81 over par with a 365.
Taking the team championship Wednesday afternoon was the host Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College who completed the tournament with a 318.
Recording Albright’s top score of the day was
Erik Thorn, who shot an 89 placing tied for 48th. After him was
Brody Blessing in 52nd place with a 90.
Matt Osorio and
Joe Tenuta finished tied for 60th with 93’s and
Nicholas Behney ended the afternoon with a 99 (71st place).
Men’s Golf will compete in their final tournament of the fall season on Tuesday at the Gettysburg College Invitational. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
