ANNVILLE, Pa. - With their semi-final match-up with Messiah College less than 24 hours away, the Commonwealth Conference announced that women’s soccer team member Olivia Giuliano has been named the Commonwealth Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season.

In a 1-0-1 week for the Lady Lions, Giuliano did not surrender a goal in over 208 minutes of action. During that time the Nutley, NJ native recorded a combined 15 saves and faced over 30 shots from Kean University (W 1-0) and Widener University (T 0-0).

The Saturday draw with the Pride of Widener pushed the Lions into this year’s postseason tournament for the first time since 2006. Giuliano will enter Tuesday’s match with the Falcons with a program best 0.82 goal against average and a save percentage of 87.3%.
