Gia Boscola# the Albright Field Hockey team (4-5/1-0 Commonwealth) picked up a huge conference win over Shenandoah University (3-3/0-1 Commonwealth) Saturday afternoon at Sprint Field. The scoring power of Feldman and Boscola led the Lions to a 4-1 victory over the Hornets in the Commonwealth Conference opener.
Saturday's win marks the second time that Feldman and Boscola have led their team to victory. The first time was when the duo helped the red and white earn a 3-2 victory over Cabrini College on the 17th.
On the day, the Lions tallied nine shots, eight of which were on goal. Shenandoah tallied six shots of their own, but were held to just two shots in the second half.
The Hornets actually netted the first goal of the afternoon in the 13th minute. Sara DeLuca put her team ahead 1-0 after redirected a Megan Garrett pass. However Shenandoah's lead did not last long, as Feldman evened the score at 1-1 less than two minutes later. Boscola then put the red and white ahead in the 27th minute, after receiving a pass from Feldman.
After the intermission, Boscola widened the Lions gap even more with her second score of the day in the 36th minute. The victory was secured in the 57th minute by Feldman. Both goals in the second half were unassisted.

Kaitlyn Johnstone# came up with just two saves to earn her fourth win of the season. Shenandoah led the contest in penalty corners with six, while Albright managed four.
Field Hockey returns to action on Tuesday when they host nationally ranked Lebanon Valley College at 4 p.m. in Shirk Stadium.
