READING, Pa. - The weekly honors continue to roll in for junior guard Zac Shaeffer, this time earning a place on the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week, as announced Friday morning.

Shaeffer coming off the best week of his career has helped guide the Lions to the 2010 Commonwealth Conference championship game. Last week the Lampeter native averaged 32 points per game, while recording a new career best of 44 points in the 111-110 double overtime win over Alvernia University.

His 91% from the free throw line was sensational and helped the Lions to secure the number two spot in this year's conference tournament. So far this week, Shaeffer has been named the Commonwealth Conference and ECAC South Region Player of the Week. His selection to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week is the first of his career, and is a national weekly honor.

A total of five players are selected throughout the country with only the top-5 performances earning a place on the team.
