Men's Golf Competes at Bent Creek Invitational

Tournament Results

LITITZ, Pa. – Just one week after recording a first and third place finish at two tournaments, the Men's Golf team returned to competition Monday afternoon, taking part in the Franklin and Marshall College Bent Creek Invitational. On the day the Lions placed 11th out of 17 teams with a final score of 323 (+39).

Taking the tournament championship was the host Diplomats who completed their annual invitational with a score of 296 (+12). Earning the tournament's individual championship was Corey Wenger from Messiah College with a final score of 70 (-1).

The Lions top score belonged to Brett Cybulski who placed tied for 26th on the day with a 79 (+8). Right behind him was Matthew Osorio and Steve Werst in 35th place. The two closed out the afternoon with final scores of 71.

Earning the fourth best finish for Albright was Erik Thorn with a final score of 82, which placed him tied for 43rd. The final competitor for Albright was Brody Blessing, who finished tied for 70th place with a score of 88 (+17).

Men's Golf returns to action tomorrow afternoon when they take part in the Ursinus College Invitational. Tomorrow's tournament is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
