Tournament Results

AVONDALE, Pa. – In their third and final tournament of the week the Men's Golf team placed 6th out of 11 teams at the 2010 Immaculata University Spring Invitational, Thursday afternoon at Inniscrone Golf Club.
Taking the tournament championship was Cabrini College with a combined score of 306. It was the Cavaliers own Chris Lawler that won Thursday's invitational with a final score of 73.

Albright as a whole posted a final score of 345 on the day, with Erik Thorn leading the way with a 12th place finish. The junior posted final score of 81 to close out the day. Behind him in 19th place was Brody Blessing who finished out the tournament with a score of 84.

In 28th place was Steve Werst with a score of 88, followed by Jason Angstadt who ended the day with a score of 92 to place tied for 38th.

Men's Golf will take the weekend off before returning to action on Monday when they take on Delaware Valley College and FDU-Florham in their first tri-match of the spring season. Start time for Monday's match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
