Albright College cross country senior George Cook has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Runner of the Week after winning a dual meet at Alvernia.

Cook finished a whopping 1:52 ahead of his nearest challenger in the race.

Despite running alone the entire time, Cook still completed the 5k course in 16:27.

This was Albright's first weekly award of the season. The Lions will compete at the MAC championships on Saturday, where Cook will look to put himself in contention for All-Conference honors.
