Womens Swimming- Day Three Preliminaries

Results

The Albright College women's swimming team completed Sunday's preliminary events and will head into tonight's final session looking to fend off Widener and Misericordia and win its first Middle Atlantic Conference title since 2008.

Nine Lions made A-finals in four events during Sunday's prelims. Junior Kari Keller is seeded second in the 200 breast (2:31.11), and will be joined in the top heat by Lauren Cormier (fourth) and Liz Muller (fifth). Emily Summers (14th) qualified for the B final.

Kaitlyn Huizing will be seeded third in the 200 back (2:11.84), while Tricia Janowiak finished seventh in the prelims. Madison Hauk was third in the 200 fly (2:18.05); Danielle Hassard placed 13th and made the B final.

Also earning a third seed was sophomore Codi Herr in the 100 free, with a time of 55.43. Gwen Stefan was fourth and Aimee Snyder was seventh, while Katy Oeste made the B-final with a 14th-place finish.

Tonight's final session will begin at 5 p.m.
