Avery Jones and Anthony Rusnak led the way as the Albright College men's golf team is tied for first heading into the final day of the Commonwealth Conference championships.

Jones shot a tournament-best 73, and Rusnak is second overall with a 75.

Sal Capelli tied for seventh overall, shooting 79. Rounding out Albright's group were seniors Erik Thorn (82) and Steve Werst (86).

Albright and local rival Alvernia are tied at 309 for the lead heading into Sunday's final round. The two have built quite a cushion, with Messiah currently third in 327.
