The Albright College cross country teams competed Saturday at the 33rd Philadelphia Metropolitan Cross Country Championships. Neither side recorded a team score, but several solid individual performances were recorded.

Junior John Wallace was third place overall in the men's race, finishing in 28:02. He was four seconds off second place, and 34 seconds behind winner Rob Albano (of Felician).

Four Lion men competed. Also finishing were Dave Dupre (34:36, 66th place), Alex Jenkins (35:51, 73rd) and Connor Unger (36:25, 80th).

Three Lady Lions competed, led by Shanna Hawkins with a time of 23:28.

Newcomers Rebecca Stickler (26:08) and Karen Gasior (31:42) also finished for the Albright women.
