Running on his old home course, transfer junior John Wallace led Albright men's cross country with an individual victory, Saturday at the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen Invitational.

Wallace (26:45.55) transferred from York after running for LVC as a freshman. In the Lions' season opener, he helped Albright to a sixth place finish overall out of 10 scoring teams.

Junior Sam Marcotte was 41st overall (31:45.89), while newcomer Oumar Diawara (33:09.71) also finished in the top-100.

Other Lion finishers on the 8k course included Connor Unger (33:16.20), David Dupre (33:53.72) and Alex Jenkins (35:51.61).

Misericordia University won the meet, with three runners in the top 24.
