The Middle Atlantic Conference announced its All-Century tennis teams on Tuesday, with three Albright players honored.
As a part of the MAC 100 celebration, the Middle Atlantic Conference will recognize top athletes from conference history, naming student-athletes to Century Teams in each sport from each era. Eras were delineated based on conference membership and sport sponsorship. The number of individuals selected per team varies depending upon the nature of the sport. Century Teams were selected from an online fan vote combined with the MAC Sports Information Directors vote. Team members will receive a commemorative gold coin, distributed to their alma matter. Century Teams will be announced at the conclusion of each respective sport season.
On the same day she was named the first Academic All-American in Albright tennis history,
Victoria Foanio '14 was included on the women's
2004-2012 squad.
Foanio has won Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year honors in each of her three seasons in Reading. She has reached the MAC singles championship each season, winning it twice. She also won the conference doubles title in 2011.
Named to the men's
1994-2003 team is
Bill Fleegler '98. Fleegler won MAC doubles titles in 1996 and 1998 with different teammates, first Dave Arnold and then Mike Zinn.

2004-2012 team is current men's and women's head coach
Jeremy Speicher '06.
The Lions' all-time wins leader with 103 victories, Speicher was the 2005 Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year and a two-time first team All-Conference selection. His 46 wins at first singles is a school record, ahead of Fleegler (37 victories).
