LANCASTER, Pa. – Freshman Chad Bomgardner finished second to pace the Lions men's cross country squad at the Charger Invitational at Lancaster Bible College Saturday morning.

Bomgardner finished the 8K race in a time of 27:39.5 crossing the line behind only Alexander Kane of Penn State Abington who was victorious in a time of 26:59.4,

Penn State Abington captured the title.

Trey Thatcher ran a time of 29:22.4 good for 11^th place and Malik Sylla was 30^th in a time of 32:26.1.

The Lions harriers are at Alvernia at the Alvernia Invitational on Saturday October 18.
