READING, Pa. -- Freshman
Jo Carter finished 26th overall leading the Albright women's cross country team at the Alvernia Invitational on Saturday at the Berks County Youth Recreation Facility.
Carter finished the 6k course in a time of 30:06.0 and placed as the Lions top finisher for the first time this season.
Freshman
Amanda Hoeler was the second Lion to cross the finish line as she placed 35th overall in 31:56.0.
Andrea Stevko of Alvernia won the individual title as she placed first in a time of 24:41.0, while Erica Trofa of Widener was second in 25:42.0.
Widener won the team title with 25 points, while Alvernia was second with 41 points.
