HERSHEY, Pa. -- Freshman Amanda Hoeler recorded a top-10 finish highlighting the performances of the Albright College women's cross country team at the Penn State-Harrisburg Invitational on Friday at Serb Park.

Hoeler finished the 6k course in 29:48.2, which was good for 10th overall in the competition. It marked the first race this season in which Hoeler has been the Lions top finisher.

Freshman Joe Carter finished right behind Hoeler as she placed 12th overall in a time of 30:07.3.

Avalon McOmber of McDaniel won the individual title as she completed the course in 25:58.9.
