NEWVILLE, Pa. -- Freshmen Chad Bomgardner and Malik Sylla each completed their 2014 seasons on Saturday by competing at the NCAA Mideast Regional Cross Country Championships at the Big Spring Course hosted by Dickinson College.

Bomgardner, who was the Lions top runner all season long, finished the 8k course in a time of 27:44.1 to finish 144th overall, while Sylla was 319th in the race as he crossed the line in 33:14.0.

Charlie Marquardt of Haverford captured the individual title by finishing the race in a time of 24:57.4.

Carnegie Mellon won the team title with 90 points, while Widener finished second with 115 points.
