NEWARK, Del. --
Tamahra Sheard posted a top-25 finish to lead the Albright women's cross country team at the Delaware Invitational on Saturday at White Clay Creek State Park.
Sheard placed 24th overall as she completed the 6k course in a time of 26:41.49. It marked the second consecutive meet that Sheard has been the Lions top overall finisher.
Karen Gasior was the second Albright runner to finish the race as she completed the course in a time of 29:20.87.
Jo Carter and
Amanda Hoeler placed third and fourth for Albright respectively. Carter was 75th overall in 30:19.55, while Hoeler was 76th in 30:23.08.
Sophie Huster rounded out the team for Albright as she placed 104th in the field in a time of 36:12.18.
Albright was ninth in the team scoring with 271 points, while Rowan was the top finisher among Division II and Division III teams with 35 points.
