Training Room Rules and Procedures

1. The Athletic Training staff, including student workers, is committed to providing our intercollegiate student-athletes with the best possible health care. Please treat our staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner. 

2. No one is permitted in the training room without the supervision or permission of a staff athletic trainer. 

3. No one may administer treatment to himself/herself or anyone else. 

4. No one may take anything from the training room with out permission from a staff athletic trainer. If you wish to borrow a cooler etc. these will be signed out and returned to the training room after use. 

5. No loitering, or tobacco products permitted in the training room. 

6. This is a co-ed facility. Proper dress is required 

7. Taping and treatments will be administered on a "first come, first served" basis. Please arrive early for practice. Treatments or taping should not infringe on practice time. 

8. Fall sport evaluations and rehabilitation will be performed during AM training room hours only. Failure to report for AM treatment may result in a loss of treatment for that day or the student athlete being late for practice. Athletes that were present for AM treatment have priority during afternoon hours and will receive treatment before athletes that were absent for AM treatment. Winter and spring sport rehabilitation and treatment sessions are by appointment. 

9. Only student-athletes who are competing in intercollegiate athletics and have a completed physical on file may receive treatment in the training room. 

10. It is the student-athlete's responsibility to report all injuries/illnesses to a staff athletic trainer. 

11. It is the student-athlete's responsibility to wear any required protective equipment such as mouthguards, helmets, and any other pads required by their sport. 

12. It is the student-athlete's responsibility to report all medications on their health history questionnaire (prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, herbal supplements and/or any diet pills).
