Albright College Sports Medicine
The mission of the Albright College Athletic Training Department is to provide the highest quality medical care possible to all intercollegiate student athletes. Athletic training services are provided by a staff of three certified athletic trainers, a team orthopedic physician and a team family medicine physician.
This staff works together to provide a comprehensive approach to managing athletic injuries. Under the guidelines set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association and the standing orders provided by the team physician the athletic training department focuses on the prevention, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. An additional goal of this department is to educate the student athlete on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
This department strives to support the colleges’ mission to inspire and educate the scholar and leader in each student athlete and foster a commitment to a lifetime of service and learning.
