Albright College Athletics

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome visiting athletic teams to Albright College and Reading, PA. It is our Mission in the Albright College Sports Medicine Department to provide the best possible athletic care to both our student athletes as well as visiting athletic teams. 

All visiting football teams will have access to the Shirk Stadium Athletic Training Room. It is located inside the Shirk Stadium Complex on the 1st floor. Visiting athletic trainers will be provided with two taping tables outside their locker rooms. ALS ambulance services and an orthopedic physician and or family practice physician will be onsite for all football games. Sidelines will be supplied with water, ice and emergency equipment. 

All other visiting teams will use the Bollman Center Athletic Training Room. Available modalities at this facility include: 

	Ice
	Hot and Cold Whirlpools
	Moist heat packs
	Electric Stim*
	Ultrasound*

*Please provide an MD or ATC written note if traveling without an ATC.

An athletic trainer will be onsite/ nearby for all events. In the event there are multiple events occurring at the same time the athletic trainer will be located at the higher-risk sport with the AED. A student worker will be stationed at the other event with a two-way radio to access emergency personnel and activate the emergency action plan.

If your team is not traveling with an athletic trainer, please provide the necessary supplies for your team.
