Visiting Team Athletic Trainers:
Albright College Athletic Training Staff would like to welcome you to Albright College. Our main athletic training room is in Bollman Center on campus located on N. 13
th Street in Reading. There is a satellite athletic training room (football and men’s lacrosse only) located in Shirk Stadium on N. 12
th Street in Reading. Our facilities will be open approximately
two hours prior to all home events and will remain open approximately
30 minutes after completion of the event. A Certified Athletic Trainer will be available for all home contests and events. A Certified Athletic Trainer will travel with Albright College Varsity/JV football and men’s lacrosse teams to
all away events. In addition, a Certified Athletic Trainer will travel with all teams to playoffs events. Every attempt will be made to travel with teams when possible.
The following services will be available upon your visit:
- Water, cups, injury ice and ice bags
- Taping area which includes at least one taping table
- Modalities (Bollman Center facility only): whirlpool and hydrocollator. Electrical stimulation and ultrasound may be used only when visiting team is traveling with a certified athletic trainer.
- Emergency equipment: AED, spine board/vacuum mattress, splints and crutches (to be returned at earliest convenience).
- EMS will be on site for all Varsity/JV football games. EMS will be on-call for all other events.
If your team is
NOT traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer:
- Notify the Albright College athletic training staff at least one day prior to the contest/event via
e-mail or phone.
- Be sure that your team travels with proper supplies and/or any special instructions.
- Include student-athlete insurance and emergency contact information.
