> Sheerer to Compete in NCAA DIII Men's National Swim Meet

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Late Friday evening, the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Committee announced that junior swimmer Chris Sheerer has been invited to compete in this year’s national swim meet in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – On the final day of the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship Swim Meet the Men’s Swimming completed the three day meet in second place with 640 total points, while the women finished in third place with 589 total points. Freshman Madison Hauk was named the Rookie of the Year and Chris Sheerer was named the David B. Eavenson Award winner for the second consecutive year Sunday evening.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – On the second day of the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship Swim Meet a total of three new program records fell, with junior Chris Sheerer leading the way with another NCAA “B” cut this time in the 400 IM.

Men's and Women's Swimming Record Top Finishes at MAC's

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – After just six events the Albright men’s and women’s swim teams have found themselves amongst the top squads at this year’s Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet. Currently the Lady Lions lead the field with 200 points, while the men’s team ranks second overall with 193 points.

Swimming Sweeps Susquehanna on Senior Day

READING, Pa. - It truly was a great send off for the senior members of the Albright swim teams as both squads defeated visiting Susquehanna University Saturday afternoon in the Natatorium. The men’s team earned a 117-87 win, while the women’s pulled out a huge 108-97 victory.

Two Pool Records Fall in Win over Elizabethtown

READING, Pa. - It was another record setting night for the Lions as they finally made their return to their home waters Tuesday evening. The red and white coming off a huge win over the weekend dominated the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College to pick-up a pair of victories. The men’s team defeated the Blue Jays 114-40 and the women’s team defeated Etown 107-86.

Swimming Sweeps Misericordia in Conference Meet

DALLAS, Pa. - After nearly a one month hiatus the Lion swimmers returned their dominant ways as both teams picked up huge conference wins over Misericordia University Saturday afternoon. The men’s team downed the host Cougars by the final score of 154-108, while the women’s team picked up a 140-122 victory.

Swimming Cruises to Non-Conference Win

READING, Pa. - The Albright Swim teams returned to the Natatorium for their first home meet in over a month Saturday afternoon. Coming off a great weekend at the Swarthmore College Invitational, both teams defeated the visiting Cavaliers of Cabrini College in dominant fashion, with the men’s team taking a 133-77 victory while the women took a 135-110 win.

Lion Swimmers Close Out Swarthmore Invitational

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – On day two of the Swarthmore College Swimming Invitational, the Lions continued their dominant performances throughout Saturday’s long competition. For the women’s team the red and white brought home a total of 10 top-5 finishes, while on the men’s side the Lions total four first place finishes, and combined for an additional five top-5 finishes.

Swimming Soars Past Falcons in Conference Meet

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Lions swimmers continued their winning ways Saturday afternoon defeating the Falcons of Messiah College in both the men’s and women’s competitions. A total of 19 first place finishes were recorded by both teams.
