BETHLEHEM, Pa. - It was a long day for the members of the Albright Track and Field teams as they competed for individual and team honors at the 2010 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championship meet at Lehigh University Saturday afternoon.

READING, Pa. - Starting tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. members of the Albright Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams will be competing for a chance to call themselves champions as they represent the red and white at the 2009-10 Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet at Lehigh University.

READING, Pa. - In their annual home meet the Men’s Track and Field team picked up a first place finish defeating a field of five teams, while the Women’s Track and Field team recorded a second place finish overall, falling to Delaware Valley College by a mere eight points Saturday afternoon.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – It was another afternoon of top finishes for the Albright track and field teams at the 2010 Muhlenberg College Invitational. Leading the way for the red and white was Justin Gewirtz who took first in the high jump event and Mackenzie Miller who took second in the triple jump event.

Shirk Invitational Meet Results

READING, Pa. - Results from the 2010 Albright College Shirk Invitational High School Meet are now posted on AlbrightAthletics.com. Due to a glitch in the computer program results from the 55 meter hurdles were lost in groups 2, 3, and 5. Any coaches with hand results can send them to Albright Track and Field Coach Deneen Ebling at debling@alb.edu. When enough results are collected they will be submitted to PennTrackXC.

T&F Records Top Finishes at Collegeville Indoor Classic

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – In only their third meet of the of the season, the Albright Track and Field team traveled to Ursinus College to take part in the 2010 Collegeville Indoor Classic. Overall the men’s team placed 7th out of 13 squads, while the women’s team posted a 12th place finish out of 14 teams Friday afternoon.

Track and Field Teams Invited to Sign-Up for Albright Meets

READING, Pa. - Any collegiate track and field teams looking to add another meet to their 2010 schedule are welcome to sign-up for the 2010 Albright College invitational which will be held on February 13th in the John Scholl Life Sports Center. Albright College will also be hosting the Philadelphia Masters Track and Field Association all-comer meet as well on January 17th.

Track and Field Hits the Ground Running at Ursinus Indoor Classic

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The 2009-10 Indoor Track and Field season got off to a great start Saturday morning at Ursinus College. Sophomore runner George Cook in his 5,000 meter event of the season broke the school record with a time of 16:20.44 to finish in fifth place in the event.
