Women's Basketball Falls to #25/23 Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Looking to upset one of their biggest conference rivals the Lady Lions (8-14/4-8 CC) traveled to Lebanon Valley College to face the nationally ranked and first place Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley (21-2/11-1 CC). Despite playing a game less than 24 hours ago the Dutchmen managed to hold-off a hungry Albright team earning a 70-51 decision Saturday afternoon at LVC Gymnasium.

WBB Downs Arcadia; McGinness Breaks 1,000 Pt. Mark

READING, Pa. - It was a great night for the Lady Lions all-around as they not only picked up a 66-54 win over Arcadia University, but they were able to support Breast Cancer Research as part of the Kay Yow/WBCA Pink Zone initiative. However it was junior Jessica McGinness who truly stole the show Thursday evening in the Bollman Center as she became the 13th player in program history to score her 1,000th career point.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With less than five minutes left to play in the second half the Lady Lions (6-12/2-6 CC) following a 17-0 run jumped out to a five-point lead over Lycoming College (6-13/3-5 CC). Albright would then tie the score at 62-62 with a minute to play, but it was Lycoming’s Alicia Engler at the free throw line that proved to be the deciding factor for the Warriors as they walked away with a 64-62 conference win Saturday afternoon at Lamade Gymnasium.
