SWARTHMORE, Pa. - In the final day of the Swarthmore College Kick Classic, the Lady Lions (1-2) fell to the host Garnetts (3-0) by the score of 2-0 Sunday afternoon.
Leading her team to victory was Emily Coleman who netted the matches second goal and assisted the first. The Lady Lions, who played an amazing game against NYU on Friday, continued their tough play against the Garnetts.
Offensively, the red and white totaled six shots against their opponents, while Swarthmore recorded 21 shots, 12 of which were on goal. Just like Friday's match, the Albright defense kept the game scoreless through the first 45 minutes of play. Swarthmore broke the scoreless draw in the 51st minute. They then netted their second goal of the day in the 68th minute to secure the victory.
