MBB Ranked First in Middle Atlantic Region

READING, Pa. - Late Wednesday night the NCAA announced the first regional rankings of the 2009-10 season. Taking the number one spot in the Middle-Atlantic region were the Lions.

Prior to last night’s loss to Widener, Albright held an in-region record of 14-1, and an overall record of 16-2. Lycoming College was ranked second with an in-region record of 12-3, followed by the CSAC’s Cabrini College with a record of 16-2.

Elizabethtown College and Alvernia University were also amongst the nine ranked teams with Etown ranked sixth and Alvernia eighth.

3. Cabrini 16-2, 16-2
4. Franklin and Marshall 16-3, 16-3
5. St. Mary’s (Md.) 13-3, 16-3

7. York (Pa.) 14-4, 15-4
8. Alvernia 11-4, 13-6
9. Catholic 13-4, 15-5
