READING, Pa. - Late Thursday afternoon, Head Coach
Pat Stanco announced the 2010 Albright Men's Soccer schedule. The Lions will officially kick-off their new campaign on Wednesday, September 1st at Lancaster Bible College.
This year's schedule features a total of 18 matches, with one preseason scrimmage set for August 25th against Penn State Hazleton. After their season opener, the red and white will make their home debut against Immaculata University at 7 p.m. on September 8th at Shirk Stadium
Looking ahead to this fall, Coach Stanco will welcome back a solid group of veteran players, which include second team all-conference selection
Mark Yost. Last season, Yost led the Lions offense with three goals and two assists. However his defensive play was truly a thing to watch, especially against defending national champions Messiah College. Against the Falcons, Yost helped to solidify the Lions back field, and limited Messiah to just one goal through 84 minutes of play.
As always live stats will be available for all home matches played this fall. Albright play-by-play announcer Steve Degler will also have the call for a select number of games as well. The fall 2010 broadcast schedule for all of Albright sports will be announced later this summer.
