Junior Dane Canonico scored in the shot put as a select group of Albright track and field athletes competed at the 2012 ECAC outdoor championships, marking the end of the spring track season.

Canonico placed eight overall in the shot put, with a toss of 15.18m (49'9.5"). That mark was less than two inches away from the school record.

Canonico's placing allowed the Lions to rank in the team scoring, tying for 61st place.

On the women's side, Taylor Kutz, Kim Hummel, Krystal Swasey and Caroline Vazzana placed 20th in the 4x800 relay (10:15.78).
